We recently received a letter from a recent graduate from the College of the Holy Cross, who had volunteered with us during his 4 years there. We wanted to share his touching letter, and generosity. Thank you, Patrick! For all of the time you volunteered to support the youth in Homework Club, and by going above and beyond by giving to the program further with your thoughtful and generous contribution! To whom it may concern: My name is Patrick Brady and I graduated from the College of the Holy Cross as a member of the Class of 2016. During all four years that I attended Holy Cross, I volunteered at Pernet with Homework Club on Monday & Tuesday afternoons through Holy Cross's Student Program for Ubran Development (SPUD). Volunteering with Pernet was one of the most enjoyable and rewarding experiences that I had at Holy Cross. I tried to reach out to the last contact I had at Pernet, but I was informed that he no longer works there. I know that Pernet relies heavily on donations, so I have enclosed a $200 gift card to Walmart. If possible, I would like the money to be used to purchase new school supplies, toys, sports equipment, games, and anything else that might enhance the experience for the children who attend the Homework Club. Some of the supplies were either missing or older when I volunteered, so I hope this money can be used to replenish some of the Homework Club's resources. Sincerely, Patrick
