Pernet Family Health Service in Worcester, Massachusetts is a Department of Public Health-certified home health agency.
We provide hands-on, in-home care for the most complex of maternal and child cases in the Worcester area, and early intervention services for children with, or at-risk for, developmental delays.
We also collaborate with many governmental, nonprofit, and spiritual organizations to improve the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual health of 11,500 impoverished people a year, many of them infants and children.
The Early Intervention Program provides family-centered developmental services to children who are experiencing or are at risk of developmental delay.
The Emergency Assistance Program provides residents of Worcester and surrounding communities access twice monthly to food, diapers, formula, and hygiene products.
Nurses at Pernet provide home care and support to pregnant and parenting women, infants, young children, and their families.
The Youth Program runs four times weekly and offers local students recreation, mentoring, arts and crafts, outings, youth events, and academic support.
The Parent Aide Program, in partnership with the Department of Children and Families, works on family reunification and parent training.
The Fathers Program provides support services to fathers in the community and at the Worcester County Jail and House of Correction through individual and group case management services to strengthen their connection with their children.
